Grow with us: Dairygold Co-Op Superstores seeks Garden Centre Manager at Raheen, Limerick

For over 150 years, Dairygold has been a cornerstone of rural life across the Munster region of Ireland. What began as a farmer-owned dairy cooperative has grown into one of the country's most trusted retail networks — and at the heart of that growth is a commitment to serving not just agricultural needs, but the everyday lives of Irish communities. Central to this mission are the garden centres housed within Dairygold's Co-Op Superstores.

Co-Op Superstores is the retail division of Dairygold, operating 26 retail stores across Munster, stretching across counties Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, and Clare. These stores are designed to be one-stop destinations, and the garden centres within them are no exception — offering everything the home gardener or commercial grower could need across the seasons.

Now, Dairygold is looking to build on that success with an exciting opportunity at its Raheen Business Park store in Raheen, Limerick. Dairygold Co-Op Superstores is seeking a dynamic Garden Centre Manager for the Raheen location — an opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced retail and has proven success in garden centre management to help shape the future of the centre.

The successful candidate will proactively support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations across the Garden Centre and the overall site, working to deliver upon agreed objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role ideally suited to someone with both horticultural knowledge and retail management experience.

Applications are invited from experienced garden centre and horticultural professionals with a demonstrated track record of achievement in a busy trading environment, preferably including people management experience. The role demands someone who can hit the ground running and lead a team in one of Munster's most prominent retail environments.

The Ballycummin store is part of a broader network that prides itself on expert service and community connection. In addition to being Munster's largest supplier of farm inputs, Co-Op Superstores offer an extensive range of building supplies, agri supplies, DIY, paint, fuel, electrical, household, garden, pet & equine, and workwear. The garden centre sits at the heart of that offer — a vibrant, customer-facing department with real scope for growth.

If you have a passion for horticulture and the drive to lead a dedicated team, this is a rare chance to take ownership of a thriving garden centre within one of Ireland's most respected cooperatives. Full details and applications can be found at horticulture.jobs.
