Join Maylim’s Dublin Team as a Maintenance Gardener

Maylim is seeking a dedicated and motivated Maintenance Gardener to join their Dublin-based maintenance division. This is a full-time & permanent position with a competitive salary ranging from €30,000 to €37,500 per year. The role is based in Wilton Place, Dublin, with projects that span high-end landscaping design across public realms, roof terraces, parks, and commercial spaces in Dublin’s urban fabric.

This position presents a unique opportunity to work on prestigious, visible sites and contribute to shaping the city’s landscape. Maylim encourages internal advancement — top performers in this role may be promoted into supervisory and management positions within the maintenance division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and uphold the company's high landscaping maintenance standards by following detailed landscape maintenance plans.
  • Assist with maintenance reporting and flag issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including review and signing of RAMS where required.
  • Perform routine gardening tasks: watering, mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and transplanting.
  • Apply fertilisers responsibly and maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Maintain sites that are clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration is central — internally with Maintenance Supervisors, Project Managers, Operations and Contracts Managers; externally with tenants, developers, and the general public.

What Makes You a Fit? Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in soft landscaping maintenance.
  • A recognised horticultural or landscape management qualification — preferably QQI Level 5 or higher.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Ability to work full-time and travel throughout Dublin. A driving license is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pruning, pest/disease control, planting, irrigation, turf care, and relevant environmental and safety knowledge.
  • Experience in construction environments is essential.
