At the Irish National Stud and Gardens, we are currently seeking to hire a Horticulturist (Grounds and Japanese Gardens). This is a permanent position, and the ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Level 7 or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of horticultural experience as a craft gardener Experience working with plant collections An interest in Japanese gardens Experience in the day-to-day operations, maintenance and development of a garden, including the management of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants, turf care, pest/disease/weed control, compost, path care, plant propagation and irrigation Interest in reaching sustainability goals with regard to mowing, trimming, and the fertilization of green spaces The ability to maintain and develop plant collections, lawns, ponds, water features and hard landscapes to include paths and structures Ability to give tours as requested...

We are currently seeking to employ Grounds and Landscape Operative This is a permanent position, the ideal candidate will be: Skilled in the use of electrical and motorised tools and equipment Confident driving tractors and related farm equipment.
