Busy Bee Garden Centre was previously known as Mc Lysaght's Garden Centre which opened in 1963. William and Anna Mc Lysaght had a vision of greatness, as at the time there were only two dedicated garden centres in Ireland, the other in Dublin and the Mc Lysaght's boasting the second. The Mc Lysaght's Garden Centre was in business from 1963 until 2015, celebrating 50 year anniversary in 2013. In 2015 the garden centre was taken over by Philip Moreau and Michelle Flannery  Busy Bee Garden Centre was officially open.
