Set in a beautiful, natural environment, the estate covers 38 acres and includes the original Overend family home, Airfield House, a working regenerative farm, ornamental and organic food gardens, native woodlands, educational spaces, our onsite restaurant - Overends Kitchen and the Tunnel Café and Farm Shop. We want people to get to know their food! The estate welcomed over 180,000 visitors a year (2019 prior to Covid) including 12,500 students. A further 250,000 experienced our farm to fork onsite restaurant, Overends Kitchen, where all food is prepared in-house, from our own farm and sourced locally, orchards and organic food gardens. We are leaders in environmental and food system sustainability and our profile is rising quickly, as we are becoming widely known for our education and public engagement initiatives in this space.
