Position - Sales Administration and Logistics Manager
FitzGerald Nurseries Ltd is a company with 33 years of experience in the specialist production of ornamental and specialist vegetable young plants and operates internationally with 97% of production exported to 35 countries.

Job Description:
Our Company requires an experienced Sales Administration and Logistics Manager.

The ideal person is someone who has at least five years of previous experience in processing sales/Purchasing administration functions and logistics, preferably in the plant nursery, vegetable or other horticulture sectors.

This person is required to run this department in a busy young plant Irish-based export company.

Job Requirements and Experience :

The person required must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Sales/Purchasing administration and logistics in previous companies in the area of plant nursery, vegetable or other horticulture sectors.

The successful candidate will have a very good understanding of transactional stock processing such as generating and inputting sales Invoices, GRN’s, PO’s, Delivery notes etc

The successful candidate will have experience of working with a sales team to co-ordinate with sales the delivery of products to customers.

The successful candidate will have experience in the purchasing functions and dealing with suppliers.

The successful candidate will have a very good understanding of logistics and be current and up to date with all changes in documentation such as Brexit etc and be familiar with Third Country shipping processes. Familiarity with management of Phytosanitary certs would be helpful.

Previous experience in working with other departments in a busy company and the ability to co-ordinate and use the information from different departments to facilitate relevant reports and commercial outputs.

Competency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems ideally with Sage and Growmaster packages however training will be available in company-specific software. , The successful candidate needs to be comfortable with producing Weekly/Monthly and yearly reports when requested on sales reports, stock reports, stock availability lists etc

The successful candidate should have the ability to meet and or coordinate with our customers' team and suppliers' team and work within these value chains with ease and confidence.

Some horticultural marketing experience would be desirable but not essential

Any other Ad hoc duties or reporting as directed by the CEO, Operations Manager and company management team.
