Job Description
Our client is an established garden design, landscape build and garden maintenance company based in Kildare working mostly in the Greater Dublin area. They require a Landscape Operative for their landscape maintenance division.
You will have:
- A Minimum of 3 years general landscape experience
- Basic knowledge of machinery use and upkeep
- Good plant knowledge, qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential
- Ability to use range of garden and landscape tools
- Ability to use initiative and take pride in delivering a high standard of work
- Ability to listen, follow instructions and communicate with the team
- Good communication and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities:
You will:
- Be performing garden/landscape maintenance tasks such as grass cutting/strimming, edging, weed control, hedge pruning/cutting and trimming, planting shrubs, trees and seasonal bedding, ground clearance, sports ground maintenance, and any other tasks associated with grounds maintenance to the highest company standards
- Previous garden maintenance operations experience is essential – excellent knowledge of plants, soil, planting & establishment techniques in addition to the ability to use a variety of garden machinery, mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers etc.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies at all times
- Working in the landscape and maintenance division as part of the team
- Ensuring machinery and or equipment used is kept clean and fuel level check daily
- Working on various sites
