Goldcrop are a specialist seed and inputs company servicing the agricultural, horticultural and amenity markets throughout Ireland. We are sole Irish agents for Florensis and P vd Haak young plants and due to growing demand we are currently looking to expand our team.

The successful candidate will be field based with a mix of office and remote working. You would be joining a well-established young plant sales team and the role will be focused on managing and growing sales with our existing customer base and opening and developing new opportunities. This role represents a great chance to become an important part of a small but focused sales team with scope for continuous learning and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage and develop strong relationships with the company's current customer base.

·         Manage designated customer accounts in a professional & timely fashion.

·         Generate sales and contribute towards the company's sales targets.

·         Identify new sales opportunities.

·         Account management / cash collection.

·         Preparation of quotations and order input.

·         Prepare reports on sales and account status.

·         Offer technical and agronomy support.

·         Represent the company at trade shows and trials both in Ireland and abroad.

Key requirements:

·         Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

·         Good organisational skills.

·         Ability to plan and conduct customer visits ensuring high standards of service.

·         Third level Agricultural Science based qualification or similar is desirable.

·         Previous experience in a similar sales role would be an advantage.

·         IT literate and competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Email.

·         Travel both nationally and abroad as necessary.

·         Valid driving license.
