A vacancy exists for an experienced professional in the position of a Sportsturf & Landscape Maintenance Team Leader in the Campus Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities (E&F) Department of Trinity College Dublin. The purpose of the role is to plan and lead the provision of high-quality campus maintenance service across all campuses to the students, staff and visitors of Trinity College Dublin and its wider Estate.
The Sportsturf & Landscape Maintenance Team Leader will work together with the existing Campus Maintenance Team Leader in leading the experienced in-house team of approximately 15 staff, consisting of a senior grounds person, grounds person, operatives, and craft gardeners. The Team Leader will provide the necessary cohesive oversight, leadership and supervision of the team and contracted external partners. The Team Leader will as part of the Leadership Team for Campus Maintenance in delivering the maintenance for all hard and soft landscaping, litter management, Sports Grounds, drainage, and Tree Collection on the estate.
Salary: Appointment will be made on the Executive 1 Salary Scale (€55,599 - €66,034 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
