Role Overview

John Morris Landscapes is seeking a skilled Landscape Operative with a strong background in hard landscaping to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on paving, patios, and structural garden works, contributing to the delivery of high-end residential landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of patios, paving, and pathways to a high standard
• Groundworks, including excavation, levelling, and sub-base preparation
• Working with materials such as natural stone, porcelain, and concrete
• Construction of garden features, including kerbing, edging, and steps
• Assisting with driveways, raised beds, and outdoor living areas
• Operating tools and small plant safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in paving and hard landscaping
• Proven track record of high-quality workmanship
• Full, clean driver’s licence (essential)
• Strong knowledge of groundworks and site preparation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (preferred)
