Castlegrey Landscapes is looking for a full time experienced & enthusiastic Horticulturist / Landscaping Gardener to join our expanding team. This is a great opportunity for you to become part of our team and assist in the continued growth of a successful company.

Experience Required: Horticultural qualification and or at least 3-5 years practical horticultural experience (this is essential).
Location: Based in Limerick, a high percentage of the work is carried out in Limerick and its suburbs. Some travel to Kerry, Galway and Dublin.
Hours: 8.00 am -5.00 pm Monday to Friday
Duties to include:
- Perform routine garden maintenance, including mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, planting and weeding to an exceptional standard
- Practical horticulture (e.g. managing trees and shrubs, herbaceous plants, turf care, pest/disease/weed control, compost, path care)
- Plantsmanship (e.g. the identification, recording and labelling of individual plants)
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations
- Weed control
- Waste collection and disposal
- Ad hoc duties
Requirements:
- Horticultural qualification and or at least 3-5 years practical horticultural experience - Required
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance – Required
- Full clean driving licence and over 25 for insurance purposes – Required
- BE Trailer licence - Preferred
- Manual Handling / Safe Pass - Preferred
- Own Transport to get to the company premises each morning - Required
- Van Driving Experience - Preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Capable of performing outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, adaptable, with good communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions
- Must have a good standard of English.

- You will need a love of and enthusiasm for plants and gardens.
- A good working knowledge of horticulture and experience within the industry are essential
- A desire to learn and develop is vital.

Responsibilities:
- Adhering to Company policies and procedures and clients' site rules, in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality
- Follow the instructions provided by management
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner
