Job Description

Praxis Care support individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental ill health, dementia, acquired brain injury, and complex needs throughout Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, and Isle of Man. Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Co-ordinator

Greenville, Carrigtwohill– Co. Cork


The Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Co-ordinator is part of the multi-disciplinary/ support teams that will work across our residential and day services. Their function is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual disability. This role will be responsible for providing effective leadership, supervision and management of the horticulture team and to co-ordinate their input into individual programmes of support. Our mission is to ensure that those availing of our services have a quality of life that we all aspire to. We aim to develop the potential of each client, by treating each person as a unique and respected individual having equal rights and entitlements as the rest of society.

*Salary information is based on working 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience.
