The Irish National Stud currently has a vacancy for the position of Head Gardener/ Supervisor. This is a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be energetic with a genuine desire to maintain the high standards our visitors enjoy every year. The successful candidate will report to the Estate Manager. The Supervisor’s duties will include: Working alongside, while supervising the day-to-day activities of a skilled, experienced Gardening Team. Deliver and maintain high standards across gardens, lawns, landscaped areas and Grounds. Manage gardening projects, including topiary, bonsai, hard and soft landscaping. Oversee plant health, IPM, pest and disease management. Maintain irrigation systems, equipment servicing, and water features. Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety requirements of the section. Overseeing equipment replacement, repair and use.
